PHILOSOPHY
On the Forensic Solutions Campus, we provide high quality educational courses on subjects related to criminal investigation, criminal profiling, and the forensic sciences. These courses are designed to augment or enhance other more formal professional or educational activities.

Our online courses allow world wide access to qualified, experienced instructors that do leading edge casework in their forensic fields. Our structure enables those students and professionals with busy schedules an opportunity for training, when this training would not previously have been feasible due to personal schedules or geographic locations.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our courses are taught online, over the Internet. Lesson plans are posted weekly as web pages on a protected area of our website, and a web-based course discussion forum allows interaction among students and the instructor. You can log in any time, from any computer, to read assignments, post questions, and exchange ideas with instructors and fellow students.

WHAT DOES IT COST
Enrollment fees
vary per course. For details, please see the course description page for each course, in the Course Catalog.

We also offer various discounts to help make our courses affordable to everyone. Discounts include:

  • Discounts for ABP Members and students
    (see the Course Catalog).
  • Periodic specials, announced via email to those on the course update list and to current and former KS students.

We offer invoicing to select organizations that wish to send a group of their members through one or more courses. If you are interested in invoicing for your organization, please link here for more information.

HOW DO I REGISTER
Register using our secure online registration form accessed from within the Course Catalog. We offer a variety of payment options, including credit card, check, and money order. Ask us about invoicing options for your group.

REQUIREMENTS
Because you can log in on your own schedule, it doesn't matter where you are located. In fact, we have a broad international student base. We have been privileged to teach and learn from thousands of online students since we began offering these courses in 1997! Most courses only require the following:

  • A familiarity with computers and their operation.
  • An understanding of the Internet and how to access its resources.
  • Competency with and access to Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer or another forms capable browser, with the ability to view both text and images.
  • A valid email address and familiarity with sending and receiving email.

Please see the Student FAQ for more information. Individual course requirements are listed on course description pages in the Course Catalog.
